faster- yes (marginally)60-130. off the line NO because in the real world the V won't hook up.
better? hardly. i owned a ctsv and it was near the bottom overall in cars i've spent seat time in.
you can read many articles that support this. if the car was all that trust me sales would be much much better it's a nice NICHE 60k sedan performer with incredible power- below average build quality and nothing special to look at.
I love the Camaro and with the Z28 coming out speed-looks-power.

The CTSV BUSTED the E63 in the 0-100-0 competition too and they were amazed at well it launched. Also I have seen or heard nothing wrong with the build quality of the CTSV, was the one you had the old 1st gen? Totally different animal.

A supercharged version of the E63 comes out next year
Also I'm a little surprised then if the V beat the E63 off the line
because I've watched numerous times (in person) an E55 (ECU tune) out run a V from a stop to 60.
I guess maybe that's because the E55 was supercharged and the E63 is naturally aspirated.

I did have the 2007 V and it was the 4th year of the car you would think Caddy would have had it figured out. Rear diff-suspension issue-rattles ect.

I did have the 2007 V and it was the 4th year of the car you would think Caddy would have had it figured out. Rear diff-suspension issue-rattles ect.

1st gen CTS Vs had lost of issues, this new one though is truly worl class. I have read about them replacing the 6.2 V8 with an SCed or turbo motor with less displacement, can't wait to see what happens. Oh, and on the E55s, those were utter torque monsters onn the line, so quick and so easy to modify hehe. I'd almost rather have one of those than a brand new E63.

Yea, way to compare apples to oranges. The V2 is a totally new animal...

Mercedes won't do SC'd on the 6.2.... They might do a faster Black Series but they're sticking to N/A

False. The 2011 S63 is a twin turbo 5.5l. This engine will trickle down into the E series soon enough.

At the Crank..., but fret not.. . For less than $1000.. U can swap the pully and have 630HP/630lbs. I'm not doing it to mine.. but I kno of a couple cats who have.. and their Vs are effin scary
