Well, they are targeting a very small group of people. I'm sure the car will sell well, but dang how many versions of the mustang can you put out there before you get to many?

The fact that they didn't jump to release pricing worries me. Hopefully they just haven't settled on a final number yet.

I would speculate between 40 and 48K. Not including markup.

More than the GT, less than the GT500.

If you could get into a Boss 302 for under 40k, and that is a big if, it will be a heck of a deal.

Ford is just building what Mustang enthusiasts want. If you are not a Mustang fan then you may think there are too many versions but I know a few more Mustang versions I would like to see built. I am not alone in this feeling either.

Ford has never had a hard time selling it's limited and special versions and they never will. It's just a Mustang thing.

GM needs to get on their horse. IDK how much longer I can wait for an answer to this.

the thing is that many of the special editions aren't from ford.
ford only has 4 different mustangs V6, GT, Boss 302, Shelby GT500 mostly all have different specs. the MCA. C/S are just ad-ons to the GT.
the culprits here are the tuner companies, that just slap S/C and suspensions and charge 60k for there cars.

rumors I have heard, and let me reiterate rumors, are starting price of 36-38k.

Like I said if that is true, even at 38k the car will be a hell of a performance bargain.

Or for 31K you can have a bulletproof LS3....get my point?

The GT 350 uses the same internals as a stock GT..

The Boss has forged internals. So yeah, my guess is that the "rod issue" doesn't exist in this case..

yes ford said the Boss will slot in-between the GT and GT500. so from doing some research, almost all special editions ford has put out recently
ford has price them at 38k(SHO and Raptor Base prices)

If you had bothered looking at the specs vs. the price, you will note that they did/do nothing to the internals. Bolt a S/C on the 5.0 and call it good.

The stock internals of the 5.0 are just as strong as the LS3/L99.

That was THE point.
I think you better do some more research on this statement. I don't see any published power numbers for this 350 yet...nor do I see any durabilty reports.
