Follow your own advice kid. The guy is happy that he was able to buy his son a sports car. You could have said what you said any other non offensive way, but you chose not to follow your own advice.

Am I wrong for expecting the content of this forum to match the description? If I wanted to read about some guys new Mustang I'd go sign up on said forum.

Do a little more research.
I don't see you ever contributing anything positive to the forum. Closed-mindedness never goes over well here.

A big part of growing up is realizing the importance of being considerate and tolerant to others around you.

You are only 20 y/o now, but later on in life, you will see that there is absolutely nothing to be gained by harping at a CAMARO OWNER who happened to find a good deal on a Mustang for his son and wants to share his story.

I, for one, found the picture and the story interesting and fun to read. The forum is meant for people who love Camaros to share stories and if anything, the mods will surely move or delete anything that is irrelevant.

Although you might not think it important at the moment, the world becomes a much better place for yourself and others when you see and treat others in just a little better light.

How old are you again? Why continue to post in this thread if you don't like it or are not enjoying the content. There are plenty of other threads you could be enlightening people with your knowledge and insight in.

I've made some good threads. In fact proportionate to the amount of posts I make I churn one out at a pretty decent rate. Most of the time I just read and don't post.

-Oh man I love you guys, that post by wolf avatar was so cute =]

A 2010 and under Stang Gt is quite a bit faster than the v6 Camaro. I am a Camaro fan.
Your sons car looks really clean..... for a mustang.

Might be a winning strategy. Just sayin.

Congrats on the Mustang but the guy is right. This is not the forum for this post as it has nothing to do with 5th Gen Camaros. Perhaps in another section on this forum would have been more appropriate.

Since when is the new 5.0 Mustang better than the SS? Last dyno I saw showed the Camaro with more hp and torque across the entire range. I admit the Mustang is lighter and handles better but I certainly don't agree that it is "vastly" superior.

It's less what you say, more HOW you say it. We're all old enough to know this. Sure, the OP could've posted this in the "other" section, but still. We're a community here.

1) Respect. By far the most important rule here. Through the generations of Camaros, enthusiasts have come together for the love of the car and the community (in fact, the name "Camaro" means "friend, pal, or comrade"). So, the basic rules of real life apply here, show each other respect and you will get respect as well. Don't bash someone else here because you feel like it. Personally insulting other members will not be tolerated.
