It was interesting, but had absolutely nothing to do with any production or even reasonably modified Camaro or Mustang. Fun to watch, but not much use to mortals!

Yeah I 2nd that, they should have kept them stock for a true compairison, or at least mods that majority could be doing.

I like it

I don't want to see average mods that everyone can do on TV. I want to see rediculousness so I can imagine owning that car someday. That's why I love Top Gear. They just blow the tires off half million dollar cars and make me happy. They test regular cars too i guess, but they always have to stretch to make those interesting.

I'd much rather watch 2000 hp run around than 800, I can see 800 looking out my window.

They also shouldn't compare 2 different cars with two different drivers. If they wanted to be more precise they wouldve had the same driver for each car with multiple runs, but the show is meant for entertainment not for factual documentation. I enjoyed just seeing a ridiculous rendition of my car in HD on my big-ass TV hahaha.

calm down. The New GT has been proven to be quicker than the SS its not the end of the world, its still a close race. dont take it so personal. Im sure the camaro will keep up better once it loses a few hundred lbs.

We will let you have a little glory now. It has been a LONG time since a GT could beat a SS or Z28. Even though the SS makes more power the 5.0 is lighter and has better gearing which gives it a slight advantage in the hands of the right driver. It really is good for both brands to be neck and neck. They will keep pushing each other.

I think peak power is pretty close between the LS3 and the 5.0, but the factory rev limiter really hinders the Ford, which gives the LS3 a noticeable advantage in average power in each gear.

Beyond that, I agree with the above post. It's all good!
