I love those "so-called" watchdog websites that start out "Her only mistake was jaywalking."

She and her little friends made SEVERAL mistakes and yes, I think that cop was GREATLY restrained in not whipping out the tazer because I know for a fact I would have. There would have been at least two doing "the tazer dance" it I were that cop.

Why is it "some people" seem to think it's perfectly acceptable to fight with a cop and those same people expect the cop not to fight back?

The farthest I've ever gotten was a cop that didn't like my verbally indicating that I planned to fight the ticket in court. He jerked me out of my car and started patting me down because he said I gave him "attitude."

At that point, unlike in the show COPS, I shut my yap and didn't say another word and you know what the cop did THEN?!?!!?

He ticketed me and sent me on my way. No punches, no tazing, no shooting or violence of any kind. (GASP!!)

I retract #4 after watching the video a few more times. Seems like that chick in the black shirt just went ape shit out of no-where when he asked her to respond to his request.

Steve, I still don't see the gun, can you describe what the guy was wearing at 1:30 who is carrying the gun?

Thanks.

As for anyone thinks in stupid about stopping someone for jaywalking, there is a school right there where the girls came from and the city built a over the street walk way because kids were getting hit by cars because they were running late to catch the bus and the news said that at least one person was killed there while jaywalking.

The girls have no respect for the police.

The news here just said the Police Department *and* the union are both backing the cop, saying if anything he waited too long to punch her because it was clear neither of them were going to comply with his instructions.

So basically, it was 2+ against one and he waited as long as humanly possible before engaging in a physical altercation. The guy needs a medal. I'd have broken the b****'s arm.

Look at the two pictures I posted. One is a closeup from a different frame of the video. The first on I posted shows a guy in a black/dark jacket and pants, and the "gun" which is in the lower left hand corner of the picture.

Use that as a reference as far as what to look for in the video itself.

Moral of the Story: Don't mess with cops and don't provoke them. I'm positive a cop would punch me in the face too if I resisted arrest.
