It's exactly what it sounds like, but the RTR is a limited package.. not the whole car

a $7,895 package at that and it's gonna be available for the V6 too

I could of swore I saw a GT fender badge not the 2011 5.0

I like the rims, and its nice to see a signature car from a bad as white boy in an american V8 muscle car kicking import butt at there own sport of drifting. Not a fan of stick on vinyl decals on any sort of car.

well

heres the RPM calculator:

http://www.csgnetwork.com/multirpmcalc.html

tires:28.7"
Transmission gear: 1.43
Rear Gear: 3.45
MPH:115

RPM:6642rpm

MPH: 114

RPM:6584rpm
according to many websites 6600rpm is where the rev limiter is set. If it isnt then the calculation is wrong.

just a couple sites for reference.

But the 105 mph trap for that Stang seems right for a S197 GT (pre 2011 of course) Tonight do the fuse pull mod while you are letting her cool off and see what happens. I wouldnt be surprised if your car was in low octane mode.

Nice calculations. But many different mags etc have tested the top speed in 3rd at 110mph.

And like I said...I have done it. You arent even going to hit 111 without hitting the limiter. I usually shift at about 108 if I want to stay away from the limiter. It comes up fast. I am telling you from personal experience their is NO WAY IN HELL my car will do 114-115 in 3rd...sorry.

Do you really think I am just making this up or what? I cant believe you are sitting here trying to tell someone who actually owns the car and has done it that they are wrong...

Ask some owners and look at some tests...I dont know what to tell you.

Thats one source...I can find more.

LOL That "source" you posted doesnt even say what RPM they were at @ 110 or if it was even at the rev limiter or anything. Post another source. Theres no getting around gearing if you have all the numbers down correctly. Theres a bigger chance of your speedometer being off if you are indeed hitting the rev limiter at 6350rpm (110mph). 112mph is still UNDER 6500rpm.

It is only a dealer installed package. they just take FRPP stuff and throw it on the car. then they put RTR badges all over the car.
this came out for the 2010 mustangs as well. (i have the wheels for my car)
there are much better "track packs" to be had from roush or steeda....for cheaper.

the wheels are beautiful though they came in today! (my little brother is modeling them)

If those numbers are correct and the calculator is correct you can't argue with the results. The math won't lie as long as it is accurate.

Dude you are seriously laughable.

So they didnt test the top speed in each gear then? they must have just let off early or something? I dont understand how you can still argue this.

In a perfect world yes your calculator would work...but you have to account for other things...this calculator says 110

http://www.car-videos.net/tools/spee...B1=Recalculate

The vehicles weight on the tire alone will reduce its diameter. Radial-ply tires dont expand at speed like old bias tires either....the diameter is actually less on the road with new tires for numerous reasons.

It has been tested at 110 by other sources...I have tested it...others have tested it. car and driver (or road and track, cant recall) used to have a data table up that matched these numbers as well...you can see members here discussing it in a thread if you do a search...but the link is no longer valid. Maybe if you search the site you can come up with it. I havent took much time to tell you the truth...SINCE I OWN THE CAR.

What else you got for me?

Let me guess...you know better than they do?

Also note how all the top speeds tested by automobile mag EXACTLY match what this calculator says...HMMMMMM....INTERESTING

The proof is piling up...are we finally going to see you admit you are wrong?

I doubt it...

Here I took the time just for you...it was road and track.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10223

Looks like the car would hit 111 if they went to 6600? I am not sure. The car was tested at 110 mph at 6500 rpm. This little extra is probably due to the 40 series tire not losing quite as much diameter as the average tire size.

So...just like I witness with my own eyes. 110...111 if you want to hit the limiter.

2 confirmed tests. A private owner telling you. A calculator. (all with the same exact #'s by the way)

VS .

A calculator that takes into account ZERO variables.

If this were a court case you would have no chance.

Let me know what else you need...
