Till it hits verizon or sprint they can keep it. I'm happy rockin my Pre. I'll just wait and see what hp/palm come up with. It does look great but att sucks big time here.

Your service for AT&T should improve in Grand Forks...since they bought Alltel (former Western Wireless) and will overlay that network.

At least that won't affect me since I already have the unlimited and will be "grandfathered" in.

"If you already have an unlimited smartphone data plan and you renew your contract after June 7, as long as you don't change your plan, you can keep on keepin' on with your unlimited plan. In other words, you can get a new smartphone, but keep the same plan—then you're grandfathered in with unlimited data."

I love the 200,000+ size of the app store, but I can't see paying almost double to switch to AT&T. I can get the EVO 4G soon (on a Sprint Employee plan) and play around $80 for 2 phones. Or I can switch to AT&T and pay $160+ for 2 iPhone 4s. Plus, the iPhone may get tethering but the data plan is not unlimited and its not a mobile hotspot like the EVO 4G and other Android 2.2 phones can do.

+1 - 32GB iPhone 4 FTW. Also, now that the iPhone has a front camera it makes me want to wait for iPad 2.0 which will surely have one...

I saw that, but they still haven't began the cross-over and it will probably be a whole year until it is finished. We will see how the smartphone battle plays out.

I heard September, but we've been hearing rumors about the Verizon iPhone for years now.

Hmm well the EVO already has a better camera and cheaper data plans... Not sure how the processors stack up against each other, but the EVO will be able to do flash whilst Steve and Apple continue to throw a tizzy fit every time someone mentions Adobe in their presence...

The Snapdragon inside the EVO 4G is a 1GHZ process, same as the A4 in the iPhone 4. So on that level its the same. I got to try out an EVO 4G this past weekend, I was impressed with the overall experience and while web browsing and stuff was fast, some of the menus were choppy still. The iPhone has always been snappy and no video lag when swiping through apps and pages. As as I would like to keep the cheaper cell phone bill, this is starting to look like too good a deal to pass up.

I can't wait to see one. I'm planning on getting one as soon as they come out. Apple is supposed to release the new OS to developers tonight. I guess tomorrow I'll download it and see how much different it really is. Time to start updating some apps for the new OS I guess.
