i agree with those of you that think the current style looks good, opposed to the new look. 2010 style=FAIL. they should have just waited till they're brand spankin' new 2011 upgrade IMO.
front end: duck billed bubba gump lipped disaster, rear end: reconstructive surgery gone bad. they fixed what wasn't broken. IMO

I'll chime in here and say I don't think the Camaro can handle with the Mustang GT, so long as that Mustang is equipped with the Track Package. (I'm throwing braking into the handling category here) IRS helps, but in this respect I think it will only make the heavier Camaro ride better than the GT, I don't beleive it will outhandle it. The "track package" looks alot like the mustang bullit no? the same bullit which was embarrassed by the challenger in a handling competition, which in turn was embarrassed by the camaro. |

IMPOSSIBLE!!! that the mustang with the track package will out handle the Camaro ss, The "track package" is the same setup in the bullit, which means the same 60-0 braking of a pathetic (for a performance car) 127ft. The camaro has superior brakes and superior chasis and suspension. We just have to wait and see, But noway will the mustang out handle the camaro. Hmmm lets define handling- I mean the camaro will have better cornering grip, faster saloom speeds, SUPERIOR brakeing etc...

That said, 2010 Mustang GT suspension is quite a bit more evolved than what you saw with the old models. They used the Bullitt as a baseline but were't limited by that setup by any means, this car goes a lot further. Given what I know think of the handling transfomration from the C6 Z06 to the C6 ZR1 and you will be close, although the difference could be even greater than that. I do expect reviewers to trash the Mustang in terms of ride quality and rough road stability because of the SRA, but honestly I think you will see that no matter how improved the car is. Hanging with the SRA brings some devotees to the table but it also carries a stigma. Quote:

i am going to remain extremely skeptical until the obvious Mustang vs. Camaro vs. challenger comparisons start comming out. but im going on record as saying camaro owns handling, and will win all the comparisons |

Hmmm so syr74 your saying that the 2010 mustang with 2 piston brakes (I don't know the size and thickness of the rotors) will out brake the camaro with 4 pot Brembos 14"/14.4" front/rear. I doubt it, Lets not forget that the G8 Gt stops from 60 in about 109-112ft, see that the camaro is lighter, i think the mustang is toast in the brakeing dept. I can't wait to see the comparison test in a couple of months, bragging right are on the line.

![]() We will see , fact is the 2011 Mustang with the ( COYOTE 5.0 400+ HP , 7000rpm redline) will be MUCH LIGHTER THAN THE COMPETITION , with improved BRAKING AND HANDELING , hell the 2010 STANG still only weighs 3480 pounds this is a MASSIVE ADVANTAGE for shure and will come into play with the new motor , the pony wars have just begun ...

BULL, the 2011 mustang will not be under 3500lbs. The 2010 mustang is just under 3600, Not even syr74 make such a claim. Even he says the 2011 mustang will ADD weight not lose it. you seem to be Just another ford fan pulling out random number as if it was reality. I think your drinking too much koolaid.
