To be fair you're comparing a full time drag car (yes, this is all they do with it) to the cars people actually drive on the street daily.

it also depends on what package you got with the 2010 GT. like me, i have 3.73 ratio and summer performance tires. at best the V6 comes with 3.33 ratio and summer tires. considering i have 60 more Ft-lb of torque it is an easy win for me.

it is only going to be a close race for previous gen GT's if the V6 has the performance pack. otherwise the V6 stang will be on the same level as the camaro V6. and based off the people who have driven 2011 automatics, those should be much slower.

I was dead set on getting a camaro but I'm sorry, the 5.0 is so sexy.

$300 over invoice, $500 dealer cash, $750 rebate. Can't resist.

You have to admit camaro owner or not ford did a he'll of a job with the 2011, the engine, and exhaust even sound so much better from the factory.

5.0 with Vtec! lol

I wish I could own both but the mustang has nicer interior and feels lighter for daily driving. No disrespect

Tires are the reason they are hitting those times and as I understand it those tires are not streetable. However I may be wrong!

I dont know of many people who would daily drive on the rims/tires they are using on that mustang.

No doubt about it though....it is running great times.
