Nice numbers. Still far from blowing us away.

Not to discredit this in any way...but if you read much automobile mag....they are balls deep into this new mustang. But I guess they should be...its a solid performer.

i believe doing it on a road course like they say they do is different than pulling those numbers on a 200ft skidpad.

Yup. It was on a road course with a heavily-modified car designed to still be street-comfy. On Bridgestone RE-11s and 18" rims.

It was also under damp/wet conditions. They think they could have peaked at 1.7+ with their setup if conditions had been ideal.

No, I was referring to the stock oem Camaro result of over 1G that Pedders got.

Well....they should know. On top of being one of the premiere suspension companies, they've been working with this platform since the Commodore.

I can't help but think that number was peak, though. Most magazines report average...(no matter which they report though is about as useful as EPA mpg ratings....much bigger picture to take into account).

That's what I thought. It said maximum lateral acceleration was 1G+, so comparing it to an average rating of the new GTs (.97G) isn't really the fairest thing to do.
