looks like the 5.0 should be seeing 12.8's on better prepped days and better than that in better air.
I beg to differ at least in my old Trans Am in my avatar, I looked at all my slips, and I have stacks of them, probably close to 300 and a .1 improvement in the 60 meant .15 improvement on average in the 1/4. The reason I checked this some time ago was everyone kept saying .1 in the 60 was worth .2 in the 1/4 w/ out ever backing it up. So I check it out myself w/ all of my old slips. There was the occasional .14 and .16 but almost all of mine were .15 improvement in the 1/4 from .1 improvement in the 60.

As far as mph it will usually be less with a good hook. When you spin some, at least in the 60 or so, you are going to see a higher mph. Past the 60 foot you may start to lose mph.

Since the '10 Camaro beats the '11 stang then I agree, it doesn't matter.

With more posts in a year and 2 months than both of us combined. I often wonder why these people spend so much time on this site.

just curious as to what measurements you used to come to that conclusion.

Beat: posts a faster time than the mustang when compared head to head in the same conditions.

Now if you can find me an article with different results that tests both production cars at the same time under the same conditions then you might have an argument.

When i went to Bowling Green this spring and went 12.58 i had another pass with a 1.91 60' but the clutch pedal sucked back to the floor and ruined that pass. The same day i went a 2.27 60' and 12.99 in the quarter so by using this .1 in the 60' equals .2 in the quarter theory with my best 60' on that pass it should of been a 12.27. Which is impossible in this stock car. So im with GMRULZ im usually around the gain of .15 not .2.
