How is that even anywhere close to the real message? This thread had nothing to do with sucking it up or not sucking it up. It had nothing to do with any individual getting a ticket. It was simply posting an article for discussion.

Anything else is quite simply a thread-jack.

Why is it so hard to believe? The Government is all about getting as much money from us as it possibly can. Doesnt seem too far fetched to me that they would use traffic violations as another way to get it.

Margin of error in radar guns = incorrect
Asking when it was calibrated = correct it is calibrated everytime it is used
Cops are paid overtime for court = correct
Spedometers of police vehicles certified from factory = correct
Regular passenger vehicles = not certified

I guess what I'm trying to say...on topic not thread jacking, is, YOU can keep your money and not provide this supposed revenue via following the traffic laws. if you don't follow the traffic laws and complain about the supposed revenue being the reason you got the ticket, you, meaning the person complaining not the op or anyone else specifically in this thread, are an idiot. is that clear enough for ya....lol

Anytime money is involved you can bet that that manipulation and corruption will creep into the equation. This is unfortunately, but its just human nature, to think otherwise is naive. If there were no fines for speeding I know for a fact that the number of tickets written would be diminished.

Its the same thing for all the photo radar BS, its only about fleecing the public not about safety.

If I blink my eyes I can go from 65mph to 75mph without even knowing it. This car is that fast. I got to get me a 3 cylinder piece of shite to drive to work now.

Whatever, science and human error is on my side if I'm not grossly violating a speed limit.. see you in court.... better bone up on proper operating techniques and be prepared for questioning. Same thing with speedometers... are there after market tires used, does the cable or electronic speedometer sensor been calibrated lately?

5-7 MPH.. prove it

Drove one of those for years a chevy sprint turbo 3 cyl. You'd be hard pressed to make it to 75mph

Lol. Didn't come on here to argue.

edit: you won't see me in court, I didn't say once that I was a cop. I do however have some knowledge on the subject

Traffic court is unfair.

The only people that think it's fair are the ones that get paid to attend.

Dont believe the bullshit. Most stops now days are based on suspicious driving habits which hopefully result in busting drug traffickers which lead to confiscation of vehicles, jewelry, weapons etc. which provide a generous revenues stream to police departments. That why you see so many warnings rather than tickets given out. That is unless the violation is extreme.
