perhaps, but cheating is waaaaaaaaaay more often on xbox live than PSN, The xbox is a very shooter centric console, and full of childish people makeing racist and slanderish remarks. I was going to buy it for my little bro on the 360, but I got it instead for the PS3. In my experiance alot of people on PSN have a more "mature" attitude.

Never seen a single hacker on PS3... but I hear about it from my Xbox buddies.

That's what I hear.

even less on PC games that can be moderated, especially when we boot them from the server for being immature douche bags.

I can't stand it when pre-teen's get in there and talk trash.

I will say though it is much easier to hack a PC version for obvious reasons, thats why dedicated servers are so important. But Infinity Ward did not understand that when it came to releasing Modern Warfail 2.

i had the same problem for a few days....at first i couldn't obtain an ip address, then when i finally did i couldn't connect to the ps network...called sony and they said it was some calender glitch that took place between 2/28 and 3/1 i played for a lil bit last night but they were saying not to get online untill after it's fixed which will be today including an update

I haven't seen any 'hackers' on the 360, but I do see people using glitches in the map quite often. The xbox live reporting system works pretty well for the most part, and the live service hunts for people with a modded box that would enable hacking. For my part, whenever I see someone using glitches, first a shoot them to get them out of the glitch (even if they are a teammate) and then promptly report them.
