Well, it's just the SEC so I guess that's why. lol

Plus, Meyer is 4-2 against Saban head to head.
Saban missed 20% of the decade and had 2 rebuilding jobs. Meyer coached the whole decade and hod 1 rebuild job on at a school that didn't need all that much rebuilding, AND had Superman at QB. And don't say it was Meyer that recruited Tebow because Tebows two choices (self installed) were Shula and Bama, or this new guy and Florida. Uhhhhh, hell I could have recruited Tebow for UF. lol

Saban would have been much further down the list if they factored in his coaching from the other 20%.

Meyer had a higher winning percentage, more undefeated seasons, and just as many National Championships. He personally recruited Tim Tebow at a time when the talking heads were making a living off explaining why his spread offense wouldn't work in the SEC, and if you don't think that is significant then you don't know anything about recruiting.

Meyer has won at every school hes ever been at. You put him on another SEC team and they win a Championship two years later.

Again. Meyer - 4 Saban - 2 .... and 1 of those 2 came the year Urban inherited the last minute Ron Zook 8-5 team.

I know, but hes a solid coach/recruiter other than his common sense skills.

My problem with Miles as a coach (other than the clock management) has always been the fact that his teams are really inconsistent even going back to his OK State days. Look great one week and horrible the next.

True.. but the guy is a top shelf recruiter, and always manages to put some of the most athletic teams in the country on the field.

LSU is (in my opinion) the most athletic team in the country year in and year out. Obviously Florida and Miami are up there too, but I think LSU takes that cake.

(I define athletic teams as having speed EVERYWHERE.)

That'd be a geographic stretch for the Big-10. You'd think they'd go after a closer school first....

I can't imagine why TX would want out of the Big-12 either....

IMO it would be a Stupid move for Texas to go to the Big10.

Why ?

Imagine the cost out of there pocket not to mention the Fans pockets on traveling ?
Every Game would be over 1,000 miles away sometimes week after week.
As for Fans you cant expect Fans to travel every single week across the continent.
Sec teams travel state to state however they are all bunched in the south east. Not everyone of them up North with one in the south.

Makes no Sense.

Besides it would really mess up good rivalries like Texas vs atm and OhSt and Michigan. They always play theres on a certain week every year and we always play ours the the week after the Big10 Game which happens to be thanksgiving night.

I'm just looking at it as a $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ situationf or the Fans and for the traveling week after week for the Team and Etc.

Stinks that you can't even put any money where your mouth is with no line for MSU.
