It looks like crap and I don't think I am in the minority here. If you don't like my opinion then move on...

It's that lower rear valance. It doesn't flow with the design of the car at all. It looks big, bulky, and tacked on. Sure it might be painted and installed correctly. Doesn't look good though.

I am not a fan of the bottom much either, I want the rksport carbon fiber rear diffuser, but I love the spoiler and the blackout. I think it still looks cool the way it is though.

100000000% agree. IMHO, the camaro looks great without the doo dads and body kit, IMHO, they just ruin the look (same with the Mustang and CHallenger too).

The blackout does look good. The RKSport rear valance looks much better.

I agree, sometimes less is more and with these cars it seems to be the case. I personally like the looks of the stock SS better than with the factory body kit.

2010 Mustang GT Filter upgrade?

Hey guys, just got my new 2010 GT (auto), and I LOVE it the way you boys love your Camaros. I'm looking for a factory replacement filter, Not the entire assembly.

Dealer said it won't void my warranty. I just have some concerns. Is this okay for the MAF sensor?

2010 GT's have a CAI already, and I'm told its true RAM-AIR, I just wanna get better airflow to help my mpg, and get some extra power!

Looking at K&N:

$50 free shipping

But I'm looking at GREEN as well.

Price: US $58.78

Someone also mentioned ITG filters to me. Don't know anything about them.

Is this worth the money? Will this actually do anything for my car, and most of all, will it let garbage into my engine? Is it easy to clean these things? Money is no object, I want the best filter.

I have a KN on my 2006 GT. Mine's a pain in the ass to get back in after cleaning, but I have a cone-shaped one so yours would be a lot easier. I have headers, exhaust, and the KN, so while I get much better power and mileage, I couldn't tell you how much comes from each one. Cleaning is very easy, and I have had no issues with the sensor.

You may also want to get exhaust and headers too. If you're taking more in, you need to blow more out.

Those drop in's do just fine. My wife drives a 2010 GT and when she reaches 10K miles I will throw a K&N drop in for her.

No offense, but technical questions usually aren't asked about a Mustang on a Camaro site. Check with the Mustang sites, they would have much more knowledge about your car.

Or perhaps he figured since there are quite a few of us Stang guys we might just chime in and give him the info ?

Plus a few of Camaro5 guys have Stangs in their stables.....
