I wouldnt call the Jeep brand total jokes, or the Chrysler 300's which were massive hits when they arrived.
Journey? Journey's been a sales flop for the most part. 5,000 units last month when the Equinox sold over 9,000 units and the CR-V sold over 13,000 units.

Viper sold 43 units last month. Good car, but not what Chrysler needs right now, and it should be nothing more than an afterthought until they get back on their feet.

Avenger sold nowhere near the rest of the compact market, with a terrible interior to boot. It and the Sebring are horribly uncompetitive.

Nitro? Don't even get me started. Sold even fewer units than Journey.

The Jeep brand has too many vehicles. Hell, two of them are basically the same car.

Out of your list, the only cars worth a damn are the RWD cars and trucks. Other than that...

What, because the government is going to write you a check if they do pay, right? Once you paid your taxes, that money belongs to the government, not you.

Shhh! If Chrysler goes through with giving everyone a Challenger, we might be able to trade it on a Camaro!

I just don't think Chrysler will make it long term. Lets see how the next couple of years unfold, and what kind of product they produce with Fiat.

I like the Challenger and Ram....but nothing beyond that.

The repayment schedule was actually outlined in their 5 year plan. Anywho, those of you that are putting Chrysler vehivles down, have you actually driven or even sit in them or are you just going by what rags like Motor trend says? I have an 07 Patriot, i have had no real problems in 36k miles, I average 28 MPG on a 4x4 with a best of 33MPG, I have actually taken it offroad and it does MUCH better than you'd think and loves mud. No, it's not a musclecar, but it does MORE than it was designed to do, and very well at that.

It's amazing that low 7s 0-60 and 1/4 mile in the 15s is considered }can't get out of it's own way" these days, it wasn't that long ago that was considered fast LOL. Well, it IS getting the Pentastar 3.6 for 11 so it should be on a much more even ground at that point

IF you want a challenger you better get it soon. I think it's time to pull this meatloaf out of the oven. It's more than done.

Good point. off topic though; Imagine what 1/4 mile and 0-60 times will look like in the next 20 years?

I don't think we'll even see the challenger in 11 let alone a new motor.

Oer the 5 year plan the Challenger is in the works at least through 2014, also it will get a mild refresh that year including the 3.6 V6 in the SE and the 6.4 V8 in the SRT, then according to people that work at the plant, all new transmissions in 2012.

I know about the plan. What I mean is I think chrysler will be gone. I hope not ,but it doesn't look good. You can't have sales like them and be in business for very long.
