Doesn't matter what you say. The fact remains that the CTS-V can run with and beat the best of the Europeans for tens of thousands less.

You mean a paid engineer of the company doing the testing? He may not be a test driver, but again he wasn't an amateur like Cooper. I wonder why they picked Link as apposed to some desk jockey.....

First price only matters if you can't afford it. Someone without a price limit could care less how much cheaper the CTS-V is.

Second Porsche Panamera Turbo. Unfortunately the CTS-V has NO answer for this car.

So you're saying that the CTS-V is second only to the Panamera?

Still impressive for a brand that produced stuff like this a few years ago.

The CTS-V is an extremely impressive car. For value/Performance/Practicality, it doesn't get any better.

However its not in a league of its own when it comes to performance. The Panamera (even though its something like twice as expensive as the CTS-V) is faster. The next generation M5 will surely be faster, and as you can see the M3 sedan isn't that far behind.

And you can expect the next-generation CTS-V to be even better.

Sooo I have started a little project recently...check my sig "Troll Hunter's Inc" if the majority of your post, when it comes to cars is against GM and or the Camaro. Your time here is short lived.....just putting that out there.

"he's making a list...and checking it twice........"

Alright, now I have time.
Yes, the CTS-V ran the Nurburgring faster than the M3, but that factors in acceleration also, and we know the CTS-V is superior in that.
So, I will take some Edmunds numbers to demonstrate my point.

M3 slalom: 71.8 m.p.h
CTS-V slalom: 71.1 m.p.h

M3 60-0:104 ft
CTS-V 60-0:109 ft

M3 Skidpad: .93g
CTS-V Skidpad: .92g

I trust you understand my point.

Yep, Panamera, BMW M5/M3, the new E63, and the new rs6 when it comes out...

Yes, you're right, it is impressive. But no matter how impressive it is, that still doesn't warrant "best sports sedan of the world" at this point in time.
