I think they should be required to generate the ticket from the radar. Where the speed HAS to have been captured by the radar with a timer to reset if the citation isn't validated in a certain time frame and speed and time stamp from the radar. I do believe that pacing is justified for an LEO to write tickets but stationary tickets should be done differently.

Anyway. This guy got me and wrote me the ticket. So I can only hope that he meets one of those by the book no nonsense cops who don't give ANYONE a break and gets a BS ticket himself. Funny thing is, I KNOW he would flash that badge and not get the ticket.

Once again. I know I was speeding. I know the law. I'm just saying I thought he was a dick for writing me a ticket for 6 over on a wide open interstate at midnight with little traffic.
Yea, I know that feeling! 2 of the 3 speeding tickets I got, as soon as the cop saw I was from Chicago, his attitude changed....

And speaking of being from Chicago mrray, do you have anything against us!? Every ticket I have got was in central or southern IL, the 2 in central were the ones who's attitude changed once they saw i was from Chicago. The one in southern IL was just inside the border at a speed trap, but that State Trooper was cool. He even talked to me about when he used to patrol up in the Chicago area...

I would rather here that myself, but through knowing cops, and taking law classes, its not the best thing to do!

I LOVE GM vehicles, and particularly Chevy's, but would buy any GM vehicle if I had the $$...Hopefully, one day, soon enough, a 5th Gen CAMARO! Dave_O
