lol! i haven't even finished the main storyline yet. a night or two ago i was playing and realized that the next part was fighting the crazy boss, i wasn't feeling like dying a thousand times, so i shut it off haha. i'll tackle that later on.

my classes are pretty much always M16, Scar, p90, FAL, and m21 sniper.

I unlocked the M16...I don't like burst...from far its awesome...really powerful...but up close...I get pwned...I forget its burst and get pwned...I used someones dropped ACR...I WANT THE ACR!!!!

The M16 is a great Mid range weapon. Not perfect for real long range, and not perfect for close range. I like using my silenced M9 pistol for close range with the M16, but the auto shotty's and machine pistols work really well too.

Trying ACR now....

The best gun is whichever one you get really used to the sight picture on honestly. I don't really think the gun choice really matters that much- it's more getting used to the iron sights so you can use equipment other than a dot/scope if you need it. And ya the M16 and FAMAS are rough up close. I think of them as pretty solid long range for a non-sniper rifle. If they're close enough to see with an ACOG you can kill them with an M16. I had a rougher time with other rifles killing at longer ranges.

Ok I really like the ACR.... and here is why.

Good fire power, decent damage, great accuracy, and.... the kicker... almost no blow-back for an assault rifle. GREAT close range weapon. Hip fire made easy. lol.

compared to the M16 it doesnt have the same damage, but its more ... smooth.

You only play hardcore, you can nick someone with a used soggy toothpick and they die. Smooth is for 40s of malt liquor

ACR is the best Mid/Close assault rifle. imo. It accomplishes that which the M4 does well, but it is much more accurate and has little blow-back.
