LOL me too. My first week was AWFUL while I got used to the maps and multiplayer. Now I do slightly better than breaking even but I'm very inconsistant.

Maybe play single player for a bit till you get used to the controls and everything? Once you start getting the hang of it you should be good.

I wish I would have seen this before my last reply- I think we posted at the same time. Are you new to multiplayer games in general?

I'd be happy to give you some tips but i don't want to tell you stuff you already know. Really it's a practice thing- but there are some specific things you can do. I will tell you that I didn't start multiplayer until after the game had been out for a week and the first 3 or 4 days I got WAXED. Felt like I died every time I stuck my head out, then I started to learn where people hid and I got better at knowing when to crouch vs sprint, etc. So my biggest advice is just be patient and keep trying even though it's frustrating. Equipment helps a little, but really it's about knowing maps and knowing how to move.

Edit: and keep in mind-Christmas is coming with a fresh batch of even more noob people than you lol

That's true. I'm better on the smaller maps. I love Terminal. My favorite map.

Other than that...I hate the huge maps! I always end up getting sniped.

Try the story mode first and get used to getting shot at and use of guns lol

But seriously, of all the people who have xbox360 here on c5 that I've added, I think I've only spoken with 2 or 3 people.

im only a 26 and currently my fav set up is the scar w/ a reddot , scavenger , stopping power and cant remember the other but my ? is what gun is the best assault rifle? is there another gun i should be looking forward to building up ?

yup, I think i added everyone who posted their name up in xbox live thread, most of them accepted the friend requests, a few didn't. i played a few cod4 matches with scopex and erasedgod, and i've played borderlands with Mindz a bunch of times. that's about it.

(speaking of that, Mindz you get the new DLC yet? i got it there yesterday or the day before.)

i'm still using the scar all the time now, level 68 or 69 right now. i switch up the attachments though, either silencer and red dot, holographic and heartbeat, or red dot and grenade launcher.
for perks all my classes are the same, cold blooded, bling, and ninja

i play in hardcore mode though, if i was playing normal i'd be using stopping power

i try that heartbeat monitor sometimes and find myself watching the dang screen more than the game , im going to keep trying to get used to it i see alot of people using it and it must be good

sometimes it's good, sometimes its junk. the ninja perk counters the heartbeat sensor, so if everyone is using ninja, heartbeat is useless

I've beaten it with 3 toons on both playthroughs (for backpack sdus).

It's a great addition and the humor is cool.

I have yet to see anyone on my list from c5 not playing codmw2, aside from Assassin's Creed II which I've almost beat 100% so far as well. I'm working on getting my fourth toon to playthrough 2.5 for farming weapons with the perfect spec.
