Modern Warfare 2 - Page 16

It's screwed. I really don't understand. It will play Metal gear just fine, but it won't play blurays, and it won't play call of duty. They start up but as soon as the battle begins or the movie gets past the advertisements it just shuts down and my power light flashes. Which according to the manual it's overheating

Impossible! I even put some fans on it. It's sitting in open space! Nothing near it! And it's not the discs, if you knew me then you would know all my discs are in perfect, meticulous condition. :( I'm going to the store this weekend to plead my case. I hope they cooperate.

My friends ps3 had a similar problem but i think it was the disk reader laser broke, not overheated.
Hope you can get it fixed

could it be a fail safe for your ps3 when it is overheating it automatically shuts down , maybe some fan or cooling device is broken and cannot suply cool air

My first PS3 sstopped working and it stopped reading discs all together, but everything else worked, internet, games on the hdd etc. the blue-ray laser fried, from one of two reasons, it overheated and burn up, and actually melted, or was completely covered in dust, and a disc cleaner wont clean, you have to take it apart to clean it, or a combination, to much dust overheated and fried the laser. this could be a similar case

I finally got my shotgun attachment for my scar- it's officially fully kitted. FMJ appears to count on the shotgun attachment- is that true? I'm finding shotguns (at least the attachment) are a lot more effective then I remember them being in MW1. Am I imagining things? Keep in mind I'm not as beastly as some of you are, but it really seems to kick ass inside and on maps like karachi and skid row.

I don't know if they are more effective rather than have a longer range. I've seen someone tag a guy from across the room (if it were reality.... 30 ftish) which you wouldn't have been able to do before.

I never really liked the SCAR. No Idea why. Statistically it was better than the M4 so I kept trying to like it, but I was just better with my other guns. Now all I use are M4 with HB sensor for close combat, FAL with thermal for sniping, and M16 with noob-tube for everything else.

At first I was an M4 guy, but I could 1 shot guys with the Scar so I could almost snipe with it (I don't play hardcore). But now it's loaded out, so I have to use something else and I'm not sure what.

Just got the ranger yesterday (double barreled snubnosed shotgun). Left trigger fires left barrel, right trigger fires right barrel. Not sure why, but it was oh so delicious to frag people with that thing! And then I got akimbo unlocked (duel wield), and that was just that much more awesome
