1. Preparation is key here. Regular season is forgotten, it can't help you anymore. You have over a month to prepare for a single game.

2. We have the best Secondary in Football, and Texas doesn't look like they have a running game that can hurt us. We have 6 starting linebackers for 3 spots. 3. Tebow vs. Colt. Same thing as Tebow vs. Bradford. One throws a prettier ball, one win's games. More things can go wrong with throwing the ball than running for 1st downs. Luckily for Tebow he can do both if Texas decides to step up and take away the run, and with over a months preparation you better believe that our NC stuff will be better than our Regular season stuff.

4. Schedule. UF has had to fight for win's the whole year long. Texas hasn't had a close call win with a decent opponent the whole year, and I think that will hurt them. UF is used to playing in tight games and having to fight for 60 minutes, our Defense is used to making big impact plays and our Offense is great at feeding off that. I know that can be said for nearly any team, but look at it this way.... At the beginning of the year, everyone is talking about how Epic UF is going to be..... and every team we play circled us on the schedule. Some of those teams have been studying our film since the off-season. Every game we get our opponents best game, and its only going to help us in what will turn out to be a close NC game. Not to mention our Special teams................. We have had 2 punt's returned against us the whole year. Not for touchdowns... but for positive yards. 2 the whole year.

2. Secondary... How can u be assured ur secondary is the best when u play in a run first type conference? Texas' secondary is always tested in the big 12 due to all the spread offenses...And they are 2 deep at eveRy position and little to no drop off in talent. Then there is the Texas front 7. Texas will stop Fl run and make tebow but Texas with his arm. I'm sorry but he just isn't that great of a passer ... Also... Texas has knocked out 3 qbs this yr... Just saying

3. Tebow vs McCoy? You say colt throws a pretty ball and tebow just wins games? Evidently colt does too as he is about to become the all time winningest QB is NCAA history. I'll take colt.

Now... I'll add that Texas has the adv on special teams. We are getting after it this yr. And we may have finally found a running game in Cody Johnson and Tre newton combo. The next couple games will tell.

All I know is that it will be a good game if it happens

PS: You don't think Texas' opponents circle their game with us? There are lots of kids who grow up dreaming to play football at The University of Texas and a lot of em don't get recruited so when they get to play against us... U can be assured they all show up to play their best game against us.

This was more about an even playing field than a nod to FL. Texas is winning comfortably during the regular season... but ask OU how many pt's that got them in the NC game

We have the best secondary not based on numbers but based on talent. I have no Idea what kind of numbers they have put up, but I'd be shocked if they weren't #1. You're secondary being good is fantastic... but we don't care. We're not going to be the one's who loose the game if we don't throw for 250+ yards.

And i don't know if you watch the Championship games, but I think there were something like 12 sacks between Sam Bradford and Troy Smith. We get after the QB.

Yea, Tebow had maybe the most impressive statistical year by any QB of all time in 2007. We lost 3 games. A record like that is about a team, not an individual. Plus Colt wouldn't have it if he played in the SEC lol. Just look at Peyton Manning.
