I think the most power is the one "needed" at the time. Just like the Gifts of the Spirit. It wouldn't do someone any good if you had the Gifts of healing if they needed a Word of Knowledge. So the best gift or power would have to be the one needed at the time. Just plain and simple.

Almost every superpower has a price to pay, as I believe Xanthos hinted at.
Some aren't worth the price, in my opinion. Example: Some have mentioned wolverine like healing ability. Basically that means you are effectively immortal. Personally don't think I could handle watching loved ones and friends age and die, while I effectively stayed the same.

Personally I would like to know the "Theory of Everything". Ignoring the obvious consequences like the OP said too.
