If you could have any super power, what would it be, and why?

Flight? Invisibility? Mindreading (*recommended for the men

), super strength? Super speed? None of the above? Let's hear it!

Wow, I had this discussion with my wife many times (after watching super-hero movies or series)... I would go with very fast healing à la Wolverine. Simple, effective, useful. But also, not a power that might make me "greedy". Our usual conclusion is that any super-power would, in the end, cause more trouble. If I could read minds, I might have the " real" toughts of everyone I know. Am I ready for that? Could I refrain from abusing that? And how does Superman ever rests? Every second, there is someone who could be helped. He has to make terrible choices...

Super powers would be a curse more than a blessing, really... Still, interesting question!

Yeah, for instance, I'd love to have black, batlike wings, or black feathered raven-style wings, but then the government might experiment on me!

For purposes of this question, assume I mean the power you would TRULY want, and damn the consequences!

*No fair saying, "I want the power to have any super power I want at any time."

I would like the power of effective love that could heal anyone or any thing so that no one would be sick, injured or handicapped in any way, and so that people's hearts and minds would be turned away from hate and violence.

Time Travel both back in time, and forward in time, using my mind, not a machine. but like any power, the consequesnce could be devestating, if abused or even used at all in the wrong circumstances. The Buterfly Effect.
