You miss the point, when I go home I take whatever is running that day. I go to MIT in 2024 and do not want to own something I will have to leave behind. Because I am Young with a high IQ it's where I belong, clearly demonstrated here. When you see and use one of my modules in 2025 you will then understand. Maybe yall can open up a Black Sheep Forum here?

And again another red flag dude admitted he doesn’t even own a Camaro or anything else. Talk is very cheap! Nice stash Risingson, I bet that Porsche is a blast. Of course the Camaro is better though!

Thank you . I would have to agree, especially after I modded mine . The Porsche is alittle to tame for me , as my street bike is what ruined cars for me .

Seth, glad you're here trying to help. Let me give you some free advice, however-

I take EVERYTHING posted in a forum or internet post with a grain of salt unless it can be proven to work, or not. Hopping in and giving the advice without anyone knowing your background definitely is a red flag. At least a yellow one. It's a trust but verify thing. Some of these folks here have a short fuse and don't suffer a-hole attitudes well. It's who they are. Some have a higher tolerance. But the ONLY thing that we know we all have in common is a love for Camaro. If anything else aligns, that's great, too.

"I can rebuild an ECM" makes for good cocktail conversation, but exciting? I can tell you it's not. Not to me. Color me unimpressed. And going to MIT doesn't mean you're good at everything, nor will it make you good at everything. Neither does having a high IQ. You may think you're smart now, but once you get to MIT, you're going to feel a lot less smart hanging around some of those folks. I can guarantee it. Temper the expectations and make the adjustments once you get there.

Life is full of lessons that doesn't have a book that goes along with it. Keep your eyes and ears open more often than your mouth, and you generally will do JUST FINE.

I don't take the age-ist remarks personally. Every single kid says stupid shit at some point. Every single one. Some never learn to stop. Again, proving you can't know everything. There's stuff I know that I know you have no clue about, so knowledge isn't just about one source.

Being defensive after throwing out jabs is natural, but also, jumping into "help" without showing any credentials first makes some people a bit wary. You should already know that there are some people on car forums that DON'T know what they're talking about and give out bad advice. Without knowing who we're dealing with makes people apprehensive about taking your advice as gospel. Make sense?

Place yourself in others' shoes every now and again when dealing with people whom may disagree with your views.

There's guys on here that's been working on (very successfully) Camaros longer than you've been alive, and everyone can learn something from others, regardless of age and/or experience.

Enjoy your stay. I'm betting you'll learn something about Camaros you never knew before by the time you have to go to your new school.

Very well said sir!! A lot of what you said was some of the points I was trying to tell him in the beginning, but he just didn't want to hear that. One day when he has been "out in the cruel world" and having to live in it, maybe he might learn a bit of humility or something. At least maybe mature up some?

Real life is gonna hurt that kid if he doesn't grow up. Shame. So many nice people on this board, whether old or young, smart or not, to come in acting holier than thou from the start. Most of us tried to steer him in the right direction.

Yep! Can't say we didn't try.. But yeah, life for him is going to be a bitch with his attitude. But oh well, hope he finds peace in himself.
