I normally think Mustangs are pretty bland, but someone at my Church has one with Foose Nitrous Wheels (staggered), stripes, special rear dove tail spoiler, rear window louvers, etc and it looks really good. Has a Magnaflow exhaust too. I think it was some package you could get because it doesn't look like anything custom done. |

if i had the money, there would be no question that i would have one of all 3 (mustang, camaro and challenger). driving by the ford dealership by my work, there are a ton of beautiful roush mustangs along the road. some people say they look too "overdone" but i for one think they look bad ass.
anyone know what kinda extra "go fast" goodies are on those? 1bad65, i see you own a mustang. what do you know about them?

I looked into getting one before I got my 2007 GT. So I'm no expert, but I had done a good bit of research on the Roush models available at that time. |

Nah, I'll pass on that one. A lot of people were banned for various reasons, mostly for speaking the truth and sticking to what they believe in. Water under the bridge though, I'd like to keep on track here. I truly believe the new Camaro is the epitome of the "love it or hate it" muscle car. There doesn't seem to be any in between on this one. I love the car for the pure and simple fact that it brings something into the new era muscle car slugfest. Ford did a fantastic job of bringing back the old school Mustang persona with the S197. Dodge knocked it out of the park with the Challenger. There was something both were lacking though and Chevrolet jumped at the chance to appeal to consumers that realized this. Ford nailed it on the performance with the 197 and Dodge creamed everybody with the nicest retro thus far in the 21st century. The Camaro is unique in it's design and offers real muscle car performance at an affordable price, something GM has mastered since the first Camaro rolled out in late 1966. Each has it's advantages and disadvantages in comparison to each other. It's really a matter of preference and what better suits each individual consumer's wants and needs. It's just really cool to see these three automobile manufacturers finally compete, toe to toe, for the 1st time in decades. I can't remember a time when Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge all had a full production, affordable to most, muscle car on the market at the same time. It's really cool and is what drives forums such as this one.

I'd have to look. I just remember at the time the cost difference was enough that it was more appealing to me to get a 300hp GT and mod it with the stuff I wanted rather than spending more at purchase just to have a 300hp Mustang that said Roush on it.

Also, my wife really liked the Foose edition we saw in California. With the wider tires and the lowered stance, she loved the way that car looked.
I've only seen one Roush here in Austin on a lot, and I've never seen a Foose here. Yet that one dealership (it was actually Fritts Ford in Riverside), had at least a dozen different aftermarket models on their lot that one day we were there. |

This is what musclecars are all about, all 3 brands (owners) being honest about their rivals (peers), about the one thing they are all passionate about, the cars! I have had over 300 cars in my lifetime, of all makes and models, and I must agree there are "good ones" and "bad ones" in every corner, so enjoy the one you have now, and don't hate on the one across the street. This shows true class!

I somewhat agree. It's still a muscle car considering it's a charger, but they completely messed up the exterior styling with the front end and the 4-door BS.
