Not everybody needs the F150 (it's size, MPG, or towing capacity). I like options and competition. Oh well.....

The midsize truck still has a place, the problem is that the current trucks are either priced too close to a full size, aren't packaged correctly, or offer little improvement in FE over a full size.

I always notice in the used car market that I can buy an entry level, V6 single cab Silverado or other fullsized pick up for less money than the compact pick ups.

have to compare apples to apples here. A v6 regular cab 2wd silverado or sierra will be more than a regular cab 2wd ranger/Colorado.

Fenn is right from a few posts above. The Colorado and Canyon are like 3 to 5 grand less than a full size truck. For that money, and better mpg's to boot, people just buy the full size.

i have a 98 Ford Ranger with 207,000 miles on it and i just replaced the Clutch on her. She old beat up but shes gets me where i need to go i love that little truck and like i have always said im goin to driver her till she dies. im a little sad to hear that they aren't going to make them any more.
