The early ones had a lot of problems, I believe they were mostly software and resolved now but may need to deep dive into that before you buy.

Did GM learn anything? Probably not if they're still chasing decreasing emissions and improving fuel economy. GM has stated the new V8s will do both.

I think the real question is are we going to get a V8 in a couple/sedan that normal folks can afford.

I'm hoping for maybe a 4dr Impala (SS w/this 6.7) built alongside the CT5 at LGR. Not much is going on in that plant nowadays. Maybe that opens the door, if successful, for more Alpha platform...

I think we'll see it in a Grand Sport Corvette which will be the debut of the engine, at least that's the rumor. The 5.7 version shows up in the '27 full size twins for their debut.
