Whine with Your Cheese!
Pardon me while I vent a bit. But, I just have to share some of my personal feelings. I have made a lot of very nice friends on here. God Bless each and every one of you! (and Thank You!)
Trolls: ![]() While sometimes they can end up generating what turns out to be a rather amusing thread, they are a pain in the butt. Whatever happened to being respectful and civil to others. Every time one of these people comes on here, they want to do nothing more than slam the Camaro, slam Camaro owners and just generally disrupt the overall tenor of any discussions on this forum. All I can say about that is, “GET A LIFE!!” You know better, you want to be treated properly as do the rest of us. Grow up and learn to treat people respectfully. ![]() Auto vs Manual: This certainly seems to bring out the worst in people. Everyone of us made a conscious, decision as to what we wanted in our cars. Leave it alone. Likewise slamming people for choosing a particular engine transmission package (V6 vs V8) and (Auto vs Manual), is silly and not in good taste. Yeah we all have a perception of what “WE” like. But in real life, we want a vehicle that best accommodates our needs and desires. Colors: GM, did a wonderful job getting this car out in the marketplace. The complexity of color selections is much more than many realize. To me they are all good. This car looks darn good regardless of color. Some tend to come on here and slam people for what they chose. That is, again, an exercise in silliness. Language: The Mods, thankfully, do an excellent job of watching this. Many want to go with the freedom of speech argument, which in a way is interesting. However, there is a place and time for something like this happening. Unfortunately, I don’t believe it belongs here. We have a pretty diverse crowd of people of various ages and beliefs. It goes along with respecting others. ![]() Argumentative: There are some select individuals who come on here with no other purpose than to get into an argument with other Camaro Fans. Lighten up, learn to respect those who do not agree with you. Picking a fight for no other reason than to display your apparent perception of superiority, is a poor choice. This isn’t a hormonal display palace. Forum Rules: These are clearly posted at the top of the Forum Page. Read them and respect them. Simple guidelines by which all of us should live. ![]() Respect for Others: By the very nature of Forums such as this we get new people on here. They may not know all the in’s and out’s of what has gone on before their joining. Be kind to newbies. They are trying to learn just like many of us have over time. Give guidance and direction. I would encourage all forum members to do this. It reflects well on all of us. ![]() Whining: Yeah we all do this occasionally. However, consider the grand scheme of life. Where does your particular problem fit in there? Just something to think about. ![]() Camaro vs Mustang vs Challenger: Another ongoing topic. Each one of those vehicles has plusses and minuses. As one very prominent member here once wrote, if you aren’t going to go with the Camaro, look at and consider one of those from the Detroit Three. I love each one of them for various reasons. If I was rich enough, I would own one of each as I consider them great examples of what we feel is “Classic American Muscle!” ![]() Enough of my rant for now. Bottomline, we all need to be more civil and respectful of each other. We have a great community here, let’s all work to build it up not, tear it down. Just had to get that off my chest! Just some casual observations as I journey through life.

What really trips my trigger is when people enter into a positive dialogue about this beautifulcar. The bench racing is always interesting as long as it is civil. When we get into "Mine is bigger than yours", I tune out very quickly.
I Love Camaro's I have owned four in my lifetime and one Trans Am.

We all have opinions. No one should get butthurt because someone does not like something they like, and no one should run out and buy something because 25 people in a set of forums likes it.
Do your own thing. I am on my second Camaro and had two TA's. And for those who support free speech. There is nothing free about it. Tens of thousands died for you to be able to flap your gums. Show a little appreciation, and do not waste that freedom.

I can't see why these mustang boys want to be on a Camaro forum, I guess it is because they really wish they owned one, I have never even thought about joining a mustang forum, I have no interest at all in mustangs, so what would be the point to join their forum, Camaro is king and I love this forum.
