Purchasing a Chevrolet after the bailout

This can get out of hand FAST....so I'll just warn everyone now....keep things in check.

I don't care. For many....LONG reasons...but simply put -- it wasn't a bailout, they're still GM/Chevy...and in fact, better than ever. So why should it matter?

Thats sad. This is the reason this country is going to hell in a handbasket. Too many people are like eh whatever...Ill buy something for 5.99 thats made in china rather than pay 8.99 for something made in the US

I should make note that this was not what I meant when I said "I don't care". The bankruptcy does not effect my decision, is what I should have said.

His Civic which was assembled in a factory in the United States that received tax subsidies and other incentives from the government for its construction?

Well I suppose the two sides will depend whether your views are conservative or liberal. I just couldn't purchase a GM or Chrysler product based on the fact that I don't want any of my money going towards a company that thinks it's okay for the American people to pay for it's mistakes. That and when I saw their commercial about how GM "paid off their debt", which was nothing more than a lie mind you, I really lost a lot of respect for GM as a whole.

I edited my post, I like GM cars. The LSX motor is awesome. I feel the company is a sham though.
