A Member of the Camaro Club!
After months of reading this forum (yes, I never posted, but wanted the ride first), I am officially the proud owner of a 2SS/RS!
Sorry I don't have a very good picture, got it home yesterday and it started raining, and has continued to do so. Going from a Jeep to this, and am loving every moment of it! Even though a few days old, gets looks from TONS of people around town since most 'muscle cars' are base Mustangs. I have to admit though, last night I actually woke up and took it for a drive, could not resist, haha! Sorry for the new thread as well, just could not contain my excitement!!!! Look forward from learning from everybody and sharing any experiences I have as well. Tips are more than welcome. -Chris |

Welcome to the Family, we are always happy to welcome yet another "Permagrin" owner. Love that you woke up in the middle of the night and took her out for a spin - it made "both of you" happy, I KNOW..
Let the happy times roll and keep rolling.. PS: Nice color choice too, from another CGM owner. Still lovin mine more and more each day, just rolled 6500 miles and will have had it 7 months on the 22nd.. Edit: |

welcome and I like that you loved the car so much you'd rather drive it around than sleep Im glad the camaro is my only car cuz than I get to drive it every time I need to go somewhere even if I just need to drive down the road for some lunch and back I mean yea I can take my sisters old car tha tno one drives anymore unless its an emergency but I always prefer my camaro over my sis's old honda but why choose a honda with over 250,000 miels when I can take my camaro out thats only 2 weeks old and has 217 miles on it...

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome.
I am happy as well that this is my only car, makes it a very pleasurable experience everytime I need to go anywhere. The only thing is, going to rack up a lot of miles in no time :-) Not that it is a horrible problem, just GM is going to love me stopping by for maintenance. ![]() My drive to work is 110 miles round trip, so you can imagine. Ready to learn a lot about not only my ride, but the previous generations as well. Would be a disgrace not to learn more about the history of such a lifestyle. -Chris |
