Why don't the mirrors fold in?

I don't even care that they aren't power mirrors, just the fact that they don't fold at all!!

WHYYY!?? Even my old car from 2000 has manually folding mirrors

Push them harder, they'll fold. Eventually.

I'd guess it was a cost saving move. If that is the case, keep in mind that measures like that kept the Camaro affordable.

The same reason the passenger seat does NOT move up (with power or even without power)....

COST $$

side view mirrors are powered in my 2SS.. I'd assume that would be a standard option on all Camaro models.

My scion tC didn't have folding mirrors either. It seems to be because the length (front to back) is to long. It would fold right into the window. Broken mirror vs broken window ?

I am pretty sure he's talking about power FOLDING mirrors, like most trucks now have.

I think he means he doesn't care if they fold in with power.

really if you look carefully at the body lines of your car, the mirrors don't stick out but maybe an inch farther than the widest part of the car. if you're hitting your mirrors on something then ur most likely hitting something else as well

Power adjustable, or power folding?

But the DON'T fold or swivel like most cars do (Except for the low priced cars).
