couple finds fingers buried under interstate 45

On Sunday my 21 year old son called me and told me that when he and his girlfriend were coming back from fishing in Galveston they saw something strange going on by the side of the interstate. They saw a group of people burying something large wrapped in a blue tarp under the overpass of the freeway. I told him if he thought it was suspicious they should notify the police. He calls on Monday and said he was going fishing again and that they were going to check it out that afternoon. We made some jokes about it being someone’s drug stash or drug money buried there. I never heard back from him that day. So I called him the next day and he told me that it was a dog, but didn’t go into any further explanation as he was at work and had to get off the phone. I told the story to the 3 other ladies I work with and one said you gotta see this story…..

So the moral of this story is????

Momma’s always right.
On a side note - I’m relieved it was a dog and not a person, but poor puppy. And why would anyone bury their dog by the side of the freeway anyway?
