Camaro5 Family,
Today is a sad day. Josh Rottier, (camaro5 member KatKiller) passed away this afternoon after a long battle with cancer. Josh was 36 years young and his 37th birthday is in April. He was a “Chevy Man” and a car and truck enthusiast to the end. He leaves behind a 7 year old son, Billy. Josh and Billy Joshua J. Rottier April 6, 1973 – March 15, 2010 He will be missed more than I could ever convey in words. There is a college fund set up for Billy so anyone interested in contributing please PM me.

I'm so sorry to read this. I hope you and your family are well.
There's a Jewish tradition that everyone close visit the house of the deceased family for a week with food to bring comfort to this tragedy. Regardless of your own traditions, I'd recommend visiting with the family and sharing some stories about your time together. I promise that it will help all of you through this tough time.

My sincere condolences and sadness at the loss of one of our Camaro 'family members'.....:(
There are no words.....I lost a very close friend at the young age of 37 to brain cancer and it sucks when someone so young is taken from us.... I wish his family all the best in the coming months and years... May God be with them and comfort them in their grief.......... Last edited by "prima"Donna; 03-16-2010 at 12:27 AM. |

Billy, if you ever read this....
I'm sorry you lost your dad. Things like this shouldn't happen to someone who barely even knew their father...but know that as a dad myself, I'd do anything for my boys, as I'm sure your dad would have as well...and I'd bet you that he lived knowing that he had the opportunity to meet you, play with you, and be the love of your life....and this meant the world to him. Your dad didn't want to leave you so early...but it was his time. Billy, there will come a day when you will see him again...and be with him again... For now, live your life to the fullest knowing your dad will be looking down on you always...loving you and helping guide you to be a good man....and to one day, have a family of your own. I'm sorry Billy. You will be okay.:( |
