Downloading the beta now. Anybody else have it?

Nope, I signed up but didn't get picked. Probably because when I signed up, my PC was crappy. Now I got a new one and updated my specs... maybe they'll pick me for next phase of testing, if its not a public beta.

This is the beta people got for attending Blizzcon. I bought tickets but wasn't able to go. Had a friend who I played with go as me. I got the goodies which included the beta key.

The download is 1.65gig. Holy smokes.

I still have my "beta" code from blizzcon2008. That was never used for anything...

Its a little to late for that game IMHO

Blizzard has outragous time lines on games, every time they get close, technology advances so far they end up back at square 1.

Okay, it runs fine at home under windows xp. Locks up after I input username/password/authenticator code under windows 7. Hmm.

You may have to run it as administrator. Right click the short cut and click "Run as Administrator"

I'm an IT guy so I actually tried that first. Then tried the compatibility mode. Tried several things that didn't work. I'm going to snoop around the forums and see if there are any ideas there.

I'm at home now so I can log in and get some screen shots to share with everybody who is interested. So far, it looks really sweet.
