abortions, good? bad? or depends?

my IB extended essay is about rationalism and its application to ethical issues. one of the paper passing requirements is to have at least 10 different references and these can be opinions if need be. please post your answers before reading other peoples opinions so i can get an unbias opinion from everyone

what do you think about abortions? why? can anything justify them? what criteria have you used to determine your answer?
