I wasn't a huge fan of the first one. WIth the name battlefield, I was expecting it to be like battliefield 1942 or 2142. With that expectation in mind, it was nothing what I thought it would be and kinda ruined the game for me.

Well I see what your saying but BC1 was made for console. I believe BC2 met somewhere in the middle for both players.
Besides, it has a single player mode, which a BF has never had.

Yeah true, but I never picked up BC1 because of the campaign. I got it because I thought it was going to be a console version of the earlier battliefields on the PC, with huge multiplayer deathmatches and what not. I could care less about a single player in the battlefield franchise. Oh well, not every game is for everyone

More mature? How is pidgenholing what you do and forcing you to play exactly how they want you shooting for a mature audiance? They are DUMBING down the game so they can get less skilled people to pay them because any noob with a rocket/tank can get a kill. Especially when you cant EVEN DIVE BEHIND COVER? Hello? Realism?

I'm sorry a LAZY developer cutting out prone because they are TOO STUPID to program their own engine to cut key commands during a jump. I have absolutely no respect for todays gaming industry its all about getting as many low iq people running around with no semblance of tactics. Before the gaming industry was all about the money we had fun games that made practical sense. These games were based on peoples good ideas rather than the producers idea of making muchos dollers.

When your GETTING SHOT AT you dont think you would want to drop to the ground BEHIND cover? Thanks to DICE this is impossible. Just like using and leaning from cover in COD4MW2. Whats with the simplification of every game that had a chance lately. I mean EVERY game I was looking forward to just keeps removing features that made them actually good in the first place. COD4mw2, no lean, BF"BC2, no prone, Supreme Commander 2, the game has been ABSOLUTELY ruined because its being multiplatformed for the xbox pos.

Here is a REAL solution to fixing prone camping... not some producers crap ass idea.

Due to sattelite visual uplinks people who decide to stay in prone will become a target for off map artillery strikes after 20-30 seconds of prone. These attacks have no warning and will instakill you should you choose not to do anything.

I'm sorry but removing a staple position of warfare is retarded. Just like when they removed lean from Modern Warcrap 2. Good thing Operation flashpoint 2 didnt suck..... OH WAIT. IT DID. NON DEDICATED SERVERS. THANKS ALOT MONEY GRUBBING ARSEHOLES.

Even though I hate to say this the last good fps was Crysis. Even though it was just a tech demo.

And Mechwarrior Living Legends filled the void left by desert combat. Free mod for crysis if anyone's interested.
