Challenger gets Appearance Package

http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...e-package.html

Quote:
Dodge doesn’t have much in the way of new models for 2010, but a new Performance Appearance Package gives the Challenger an even more aggressive look and is sure to be a box checked on the order form of many Mopar fans. Priced at $1,995 for the interior package, it includes a new paint-matched hood with a raised hood scoop, a rear “Go-Wing” spoiler and a strobe stripe graphics kit.

An interior kit is also offered, with a Mopar-branded T-handle shifter, a metallic pedal kit (automatic only), custom door-sill guards, new floor mats and even a car cover. Pricing is set at $945 for the automatic transmission and $780 for the manual.

The kit is available as a factory option and can be had on SE and R/T models in any of the following colors: TorRed, Bright Silver Metallic, Brilliant Black Crystal and Bright White.
This makes an excellent looking car, look even better!

Nothing like a fake in your face hood scoop. They get major cheese points for that one.

I only like the shifter. If that hood was functional, then I'd like it.

Is it me, or are the factory wheels tiny on those things? Everytime I see one on the road it looks like a big car with the wheels off my wife's minivan.

I like the duck tail spoiler more than the miniwing. I like the shift lever. I have to see the stripes in person but they look pretty classic I think.

You can go lower- if you go to the left or right while in drive you can shift up and down. manumatic or whatever it's called.

I agree. The stripes are cool in the pics, especially with the black ducktail.

The hood scoop is a nogo IMO.

Theres a major difference in a minor mailslot and the side gills (which arent even open) which isnt even noticeable to a projected out of the hood scoop.

I am not a big challenger fan, but it does look a lot better with the stuff they added. This adds a little spice to a boring looking car imo.
