2015 Velvet 2SS

Hello all, I'm new to the forum by recommendation of another Camaro5 owner.

I recently bought a 2015 2SS, automatic, in Blue Velvet. It had some "light" body damage, but only 31,000 miles. The car is going to be my daughter's first daily driver.

I'm sure I'll have some questions for the forum! Right now I'm waiting for the bodywork to be finished. The next question will be whether I want to upgrade the head unit to a Carplay capable unit....to keep dear daughter hands free. I connected my phone and got enough functionality to wonder if it will be worth it.

It had the original Pirelli's on it, so those will be changed to ps4-A/S in stock size. I considered new wheels.....but I'll wait and see if dear daughter still wants to bracket race. I do let her drive my Hellcat, so we may just leave it at that.

My Camaro friend that recommended the forum suggested that immediately do a top end lifter fix to get rid of 4 cylinder mode....but my tuner says we can just turn it off. I'm researching the forum on that and may post the question.

The car search originally started as a search for a drag-strip only car for her, but when this car became available from a sad estate sale situation, I reconsidered the goal.

If she's not happy and would rather have an Accord.....it may go up for sale quick.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
