2019 SS convertible oil vent from differential. so smoke
I do SCCA time trials in S2 with my 2019 2SS convertible stock, and want to stay there.
To be allowed at VIR and Time Trials around here I added a rollbar, Chevy erformance brake kit, 4 corners with 285/30R19, 200 threadware. It does very well on track except 2 things: 1- Oil vent from the differential and smoke when it hit the exhaust system. 2- The nuts on the sway bar links loosen and generate a loud clunk when changing direction or accelerating after braking/slowing down. (there use to be a bulletin for nuts on gen5, but I did not see one for gen6) Are there solutions for these 2 issues? Thanks for your time and efforts to answer. Pierre Wilson, NC |

Sorry to disappoint. The Camaro team was disbanded a few years back. There will be no response from them.
As to the diff - did you service it recently? Is it perhaps overfilled? Hopefully other more knowledgeable forum members will chime in.
