How do you check the status of the order placed at the dealership without calling the dealership every time? Ordered a 2SS in mid-late April and no movement. Thinking about finding another dealership. Sorry if this is asked a billion times.

Get the order code from your dealer. Then use Chevy Chat... Bottom right corner of Chevrolet.com

Chat agents wont always be willing to share the event code but one is usually able read between the lines of where your at that point in time.

As long as your order is was accepted, you should be getting built within a few days. My 1SS got built today with a accepted order placed in early April. Production shifts to the 23's pretty soon...June 17th from what I am hearing.

The dealership is supposed to be a customer service provider and work with you about vehicle status and any other questions you have. If they aren't willing to provide good service, take your money elsewhere. I had such a good salesperson who answered my texts and calls immediately, kept me in the loop the whole time.

Did your dealership say they had an allocation? My salesman sends me emails each time my car car advances in status code.
