Camera arrived yesterday
I've taken 51 photos, with number 51 being of the boxes. I'm getting a feel for the manual settings and how each one affects pictures at different lighting. Mostly been taking shots with the telephoto lens, and will get to the wide angle lens here shortly.

Great choices.
I'll admit when I first saw this thread I thought "Camera" said "Camaro arrived yesterday" - when I scrolled down and saw the Rebel et. al. I thought "Huh, where's the Camaro?" Clearly spending to much time thinking about Camaros. Enjoy.

Nice Mindz! That's a good camera. You will have a lot of great shots with that one. I have the XTi and nearly 10k photos taken
but no so many kept. lol Quote:

I got one of these and had the best intentions of becoming a "professional" amateur photographer, but after 4 lenses, flash, and extra battery attachment, I leave it on auto with one lens most of the time. I am so ashamed....

I feel your pain. I have no plans on spending any more mony except for a Tripod, a 16 GB SD card for video and an hdmi cable.
