CCB on ZLE

Does anyone make a CCB conversion for a ZLE? It looks like the Z/28 CCB set up is close in size to the ZLE. Has anyone tried fitting it up to a ZLE? Would love to shave some weight off the nose of the car.

Racing Brake used to make a rotor hat and CCB disc that fit the ZLE calipers, they may also have the Z/28 set up, (rotors and calipers) so you can just use the GM rotors.

You can buy the GM CCBs and swap your OE hats to the CCB rotors. I went the other way on my z/28 (CCB to steel). The CCBs are high maintenance, require a more expensive pad and don't stop as well as the ZL1 1LEs steel brakes. The weight reduction would be great but I wouldn't trade the durability and the stopping power of the OE zl1 brakes in a track environment. For street / show car stuff the swap maybe worth it but look to save weight elsewhere if considering for performance.

ZLE brakes are some of the best in the world, use Castrol SRF and maybe Ferodo DS 1.11 and you will have no trouble stopping equal to exotics and GT3RS
