Carbon fiber DSS shaft

Threw DSS's carbon fiber drive shaft in the maro over the weekend. Took it for a quick spin and boy what a difference. All the little vibrations I had are gone and the instant throttle smack is much improved. Great mod. Factory states its good for over 1200 hp too

Do like I did now, before I did the DS I installed the Pegasus solid cradle bushings, then the DSS driveshaft, ya wanna talk about solid!! Man it's tight!! Only things is you feel ALL the road vibrations and noises from the rear, but to me, it is worth that, it's a streetcar!!! lol.

I did Polys in the rear cradle. Amazing what it did for traction

The other thing you will notice with it too, I did, is how quickly now she goes thru 1st and 2nd gear!! More so than before with the stock one.

That's cool!! My "extra" money has tightened up now since I'm retired, thanks to COVID, gotta watch my P's and Q's. I wanted to go FI but instead went the NA'd route. Would love to do a centri but all that I looked at are too much for my budget now. But she is a beast and I'm having fun and breakin hearts!!

All that mattes is you are having fun! I busted my tail for well over 20 years to get to a point I can afford nice things. Same as most of you I'm sure. My job is stressful and dammit I'm rewarding myself with a blower lol

I got to a point with other things where after they were modded, I wanted the OE back. Kept the Camaro relatively mod free. A tune and Z/28 CAI are my ‘radical’ mods. Now, if I had a real Z/28 as a backup car, I’d go crazy on the SS. Have fun out there and keep stimulating the economy!
