Where to get hawk dtc60 for ZLE
Where can I get Front hawk dtc60 pads for 2019 ZL1 1LE? I’ve looked in all the usual places. Tire rack had them for ZL1 but not 1LE. I thought brakes for both cars were the same so I ordered a set for ZL1. Fits the caliper but smaller sweep area. I guess 1LE has different rotors but same calipers?
Thanks. |

Not sure what events you are planning on running, but I’ve had great success with G-Loc brakes for track and Autox.
Best Regards, Dave

I’m open to try anything over stock to get more bite. I’ve used dtc60 on my Miata and 1M and really liked them. I have only used OEM on my Zle. Which compound do you suggest?

You can call KNS brakes - they may be able to help you get what you need. If you want to get rid of the 60s for ZL1 - I’ll be interested thx
Edit - The brakes should be same for ZL1 and ZLE, perhaps where you bought the pads from did not know what they are selling and it’s the wrong part? thx Last edited by Zl1+911; 09-27-2020 at 06:42 AM. |

I got them from the tire rack. I’ll contact KNS and return them to TR. they probably just fulfilled the wrong item.

Before you return them - as a help to others - can you measure them compared to stock to see what the results are? Thx

Clearly designed for this brembo caliper and rotor diameter, but with a narrower rotor surface. I actually installed one set and noticed the pad exposed about a 1/2 of rotor.

Parts number doesn’t match exactly. Too bad the order confirmation does not list the part Num.

do you have a pic of the zl1 1le pad? Why would the pads be any different? I don't get it. Why leave 1/2" of rotor surface unused?
