Holy Sh**... um, Shelby!

WOW! Only the Sierra Club can hate on this ride.

Anyone else notice that that car has an AUTO transmission? And who says you have to have a stick to perform well?

My wallet prefers a 1 engine 600hp ride.
My eye's... on the other hand...like it their way.

So if it's Twin Turbo running 1000+ hp and torque, why are they claim 100% stock ford engine? So without getting a bottom end, and just slapping on that TT kit, you will run 8's?

I'm confused by it. That car is fast though, no doubt about that.

I've seen the same thing done on a Ford GT with the same engine.

That 5.4L comes from the factory ready to go. Tearing it down can't really improve the performance. Bolting on a twin turbo kit alone can make that hp.

Wink

well to be fair the engine in the GT has an aluminum block, the GT500 has a iron block and the supercharger in the GT500 has slightly less boost than the GT.

No, its a decent car, but imagine if they had used all that money and time on a camaro or a corvette.

Considering its a tuning company's shop car, I'm sure a camaro is on their list of future toys.

thats what im wondering. stock motor.... from ford production... well what if they ordered a "production" motor? but then again, mustang guys think a cam swap is a bolt-on. that still impressive tho. however the thing that most people forget about all this, is the suspension setup on that car has to be freaking insane to hook like that.

8 second and civic dont belong in the same sentence... unless you are talking 0-60 times.
