Rim color on crystal red

About to pull the trigger on factory reproductions ZL1 replica rims for my baby.
Can’t decide on matte or gloss black.

Anyone have a picture of gloss black on Crystal Red Tintcoat.
Any advice on the color ?

Gloss Black scratch easily ?

Thanks

IMO a car should have a “theme.” Do you have other black on the car (stripes, emblems, etc)? If so may be good to match the gloss / matte finish to keep a consistent look.

I have factory gloss black wheels. Although I have minor curb rash from 7+ years of driving, I wouldn’t say the finish has been susceptible to scratches.

It seems like the gloss is easier to get clean

Here is mine with a matte black Camaro emblem on the side and matte tail light bezels. The bowtie is gloss only because I couldnt find a matte one. One day I want matte wheels. This is just my opinion, I think matte looks better. Not to mention gloss will look dull if dust gets on the wheels where matte will not be quite as bad. Just my opinion though.

Thanks.....so picture 1 is gloss.
I will assume that the other 2 pictures of the ZL1 are Satin black.

Yes, as far as I can tell. In the first pic, my friend has those wheels on his 2014 RRM Camaro and they look great! I went with polished because everyone else went black around here. All of the cars I see around here with the matte black wheels, well they just look dirty all the time, the gloss ones you can shine them up and look great with the red color cars. Jut mu .02 cents..

This is a Red Jewel Tint car - but close enough. The wheels are Giovanna Kilis - 22". The car has coil overs and is lowered 7/8" all around. The wheels are a matte finish. It has a Z-Force hood too. I love the look.
