What has happened?
2010 SS Drove around last nite for about 45 min. Stopped by a store for about 15 min. When I tried to start the car, it acted like the battery was about dead, very weak. Turned switch off, and back on and the motor turned over several times (more than usual and very slowly) and started. Messages "open and close drivers window", and "service stabil trac" came on, the tach quit working, and the motor sounded and acted like it had a fouled plug all the way home. Any ideas?

Sounds like the battery is at the end of it’s life. Wouldn’t hurt to check charging system, as well.

Your battery is dead for sure and maybe the alternator isn't charging but you'll need to check that after you put a new battery in it.

Ya man what they said, Battery's gone...
Same thing happen to me a couple of months back and my Batt was less than a year old. Service stabil trac, open and close window code, tach stopped working, heads up display stopped working, and .... New Batt Time

If that is the original battery its 9 years old, its gone!

You can check the red plastic box on the pos side near the post; sometimes theres something loose there.

Needs replacement. I recommend ACDelco 94RAGM Been using it for a year now with my ground upgrade for the engine to chassis and 0 issues.

A really slow start from having starter heat stroke does the same thing...…….
