What are you doing for trunk cargo management?

I always used the very usable cargo net in the 5th gen, but looking at that microscopic cargo net they're offering for the 6th gen is ridiculous. So what do you guys recommend?

I normally need to put down the backseats for the slightly extra space

I bought one of the little ones, it can hold a few small items.

In for ideas. I have the "cargo" net, it might hold three medium oranges at best.

It sucks there's no hooks for a bungie cord. That's what I used in my other cars to hold groceries in place.

I just put in the back seat and on the floor mainly as far as stuff I don't trust moving around in the trunk. I don't have a rubber mat back there but I don't trust groceries bags to not fall over even if I had one.

I got the OEM Chevrolet Accessory mini cargo net that attaches to the rear wall of the trunk. It is almost useless - I stuff a Detail Mist spray bottle and microfiber cloth in it when I go to a Cars & Coffee or car meet, but it's too small to be very useful.

My BMW had a nice cargo net attached to the trunk floor. That thing would stretch to easily hold things like a pizza box, or a stack of several pizza boxes for that matter. I got this similar cargo net from amazon for my Camaro, and use it all the time. It attaches to the trunk floor by Velcro and hasn't come loose in over a year now.

Obviously, golf clubs and larger objects are just going to be placed in the trunk, but for smaller things that would slide around otherwise, I can't imagine not having the cargo net.

I made a 5th gen cargo net work. I removed the rear upper two plastic push rivets on the side panels and put what is called a speed nut (1/4-20 size) on the metal bracket behind the side panels. Then I screwed in a 1/4-20 J-bolt and jam
nut to secure it. That takes care of the upper hooks. For the lower hooks, I popped a hole in the side panel itself and using more J-bolts, I put a large washer on both sides of the panel to keep it from pulling thru. It’s really quite easy.
I’ll try to get some pictures tomorrow.
