The only thing that bugs me about my zl1.. traction control button

I hit that damn traction control button ALL THE TIME without realizing it. Does anyone else have this issue or an easy solution? I was thinking about taking the button off (not sure how) and adding some stiffer springs under the button. It seems to fire off really easy, so if I drag my wrist towards the shifter, I disable the system.

I haven’t had this happen. I can see how it could happen though.

I have an M6 and accidentally hitting the TC button has not been an issue.

Do you tend to keep a hand on the gear shift when you drive? I shift then put my hand back on the steering wheel. I'm not one to keep a hand on the shifter at all times.

Occasionally I hit it, and I still haven't caught the action at the right time to identify what motion it is lol. I just look at the gauges and all of a sudden my traction control is off.

Yah, THIS!

Its definitely more of a M6 issue I'd think. I wouldn't say I drive with my hand on the shifter a lot per se, but I guess I lay my arm on the console from time to time.

Never hit it accidentally a single time, though it does get turned off quite frequently.

Don’t rest your hand on or near the shifter. I was doing it subconsciously.
